Acceptable Use Policy

1. Prohibited content
You may not upload, generate, host, link to or otherwise make available content that:
- is illegal under applicable law, including child sexual abuse material, content that facilitates terrorism or serious crime, or sanctions-violating material;
- infringes the intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights of another person;
- is deceptive, fraudulent, includes fabricated credentials, false claims of identity or affiliation, or misrepresents work as your own when it is not;
- harasses, threatens, defames, dehumanises or incites violence or discrimination against an individual or group;
- contains malware, keyloggers, phishing kits or other harmful code;
- is sexually explicit, gratuitously violent or otherwise inappropriate for a professional identity platform; or
- endangers the safety of minors.
2. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you, or probe, scan or test the security of the Service without our written authorisation;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, the underlying infrastructure or the experience of other users (for example, by sending unusual volumes of traffic, automated submissions or denial-of-service activity);
- scrape, crawl or systematically extract content from the Service at a scale or rate that is not consistent with normal human use, except via interfaces we publish for that purpose and in accordance with their stated terms;
- reverse-engineer, disassemble or decompile any part of the Service, except to the extent that applicable law permits despite this restriction;
- use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to facilitate spam, phishing or other deceptive communications;
- misrepresent your identity to other users, to the Service or to third parties; or
- encourage anyone else to do any of the above.
3. Generative-AI specific rules
You may not use the AI features of the Service to generate or publish content that misrepresents real people without their consent, fabricates credentials, defames identifiable individuals, or violates any of the rules above. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before publishing them.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Where we conclude a violation has occurred, we may, depending on the severity and circumstances: notify you, ask you to remove or modify content, remove or restrict access to content, suspend features, suspend or terminate your account, and report unlawful conduct to competent authorities. For most violations we will give you a reasonable opportunity to address the issue first; for serious or repeated violations we may act immediately.
5. Reporting
If you believe content or activity on the Service violates this AUP, report it to abuse@egoos.me, including links and a description. For copyright-specific reports, please use the procedure in our Copyright / DMCA Policy.
